Our Zero-Waste Packaging Commitment

Biodegradable Materials

All our bouquet wraps, ribbons, and packaging elements are 100% biodegradable or compostable. This means that after enjoying your beautiful flowers, the packaging can return to the earth without leaving harmful residues.

Recyclable Components

For elements that aren't biodegradable, we ensure they're fully recyclable through standard recycling programs in New Zealand. We provide clear instructions on how to properly recycle each component.

Plantable Packaging

Many of our bouquets come with seed paper components that can be planted directly in soil to grow wildflowers or herbs, turning what would be waste into new life and supporting local pollinators.

Locally Sourced

We prioritize packaging materials made in New Zealand to reduce carbon footprint from transportation. Our kraft paper, cotton wraps, and natural ribbons are all sourced from local sustainable suppliers.

Reusable Designs

We create packaging that's too beautiful to throw away. Our fabric wraps, decorative elements, and containers are designed to be repurposed in your home, extending their lifecycle beyond a single use.

Natural Dyes & Inks

All our printing and coloring is done with plant-based inks and natural dyes that are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. This ensures that even colored elements can safely biodegrade.

Bouquet Care Instructions

To ensure your eco-friendly bouquet stays fresh and beautiful for as long as possible, follow these simple care instructions:

  1. Carefully unwrap your bouquet, saving any plantable elements for later use.
  2. Trim stems at a 45-degree angle under running water.
  3. Place in a clean vase with fresh, room-temperature water.
  4. Position away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and ripening fruit.
  5. Change water every 2-3 days, re-trimming stems each time.
  6. When flowers have reached the end of their vase life, compost them along with biodegradable packaging elements.
  7. Plant any seed paper in a sunny spot with good soil, water regularly, and watch new flowers grow!
